Employee Spotlight: Chadhlia Mazouz, Business Development Representative

2 min read

We’re excited to feature another Usabilla face in our Spotlight series. Next up is Chadhlia – our Business Development Representative for the French market in Amsterdam!

Name: Chadhlia Mazouz

Nationality: Belgian & Tunisian

Role at Usabilla: Business Development Representative (France)

Department: Sales

Office location: Amsterdam

Name one thing that’s on your bucket list.
I want to learn how to play violin and be able to perform Summer from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons (see next question!)

Which song best describes your role at Usabilla?
Summer from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. Apart from being my go-to song when I need some Monday morning motivation, it also describes the intensity, the variety and the excitement my role brings me. It’s also fast-paced and reflects all the ideas and creativity the role entails (also, and especially, my buzzing mind).

Fun fact: the entire concert was released in Amsterdam (aka the best city in the world).

In one word, how’s the dynamic between you and your seatmate?
He’s the Tom to my Jerry, the Mario to my Luigi, the Batman to my Robin…I think you get the idea, right? But when it comes to football, we are the worst enemies.

What are you really proud of here at Usabilla?
I recently joined the Corporate Social Responsibility committee, and I am really excited about the projects we will carry! The team is also super nice and diverse. I cannot wait for our Christmas project.

If you were CEO for a day, what would you change?
I would certainly give a huge pay raise to the sales team of my company. Kidding. I’d plan regular massage/relaxing sessions.

Do you have a good celebrity encounter story?
I met Stromae last January in the Great Mosque of Abu Dhabi. It was actually weird…I helped his wife get “dressed” (you have to wear a special dress to visit the mosque), but I didn’t realize it was her. Then she came to him and I was so starstruck that I couldn’t say a word. Then I met them again later and I told him how much we miss him in Belgium.

Song you’re currently listening to?
I went to the cinema last week to watch Bohemian Rhapsody, and now I cannot help but listen to Queen again. My absolute favorite is Killer Queen!

Do you have a favorite quote from a movie?
That’s a tough one. I love movies, it’s very hard to pick one, and especially one quote from it! But I’ll share one from my favorite childhood movie, the Lion King: “Oh yes, the past can hurt. But you can either run from it, or learn from it.” Life lesson!
